The Three Seas University Network (3SUN) was inaugurated in Lublin during the Local Government Congress of the Trimarium. ‘This is an important initiative, which can effectively contribute to efforts to internationalise scientific cooperation’, assessed the Vice-Chancellor for Students, Doctoral Students and Development, Dr Beata Piskorska, Professor at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). 

The establishment of 3SUN implies cooperation in the field of international relations in the region, security challenges and threats, including environmental, energy, military, economic, social, cultural, technical and cyber issues. It is also a collaboration within the fields of communication and media, law, diplomacy, computer science, data exchange in the area of artificial intelligence, telemedicine and medical education, and the exchange of technological knowledge and inter-university information. 

The aim of 3SUN is to strengthen international scientific partnerships, intensify exchanges and expand research.
