The latest Polish achievements in Industry 4.0 and IT solutions for automation and robotization of enterprises were presented at the Industry 4.0 conference “Innovative applications for enterprises”.

The conference was organized by the Rzeszów University of Technology and the National Industry Cluster 4.0, which was established as a result of an initiative in cooperation with the Rzeszów University.

What is Industry 4.0? It is a collective term meaning the integration of intelligent machines, systems and introducing changes in production processes that aims to increase production efficiency. This term applies not only to technology, but also to new ways of working and the new role of people in industry.

During the conference, the latest Polish achievements in Industry 4.0 were presented. One of them was the premiere presentation of the first Polish industrial printer 3D SYS PROBE based on selective sintering of polymer powders. This Polish device successfully competes with 3D printers from world-renowned companies. The machine has Ethernet, USB, also uses Wi-Fi and remote connectivity through mobile devices.
