Without introducing innovations and increasing expenditures on research and development (R & D), any rapid and dynamic development is practically impossible. These statements are particularly true in the industrial sector, which is particularly exposed to international competition – says the report on the innovation of Polish industry.
The authors indicate that the pace of development of the entire economy depends on the condition of Polish industry.
According to the Central Statistical Office data, Polish expenditures on innovative industries are provided for PLN 28.3 billion, i.e. by 9% less than a year earlier. In the EU ranking “European Innovation Scoreboard 2017” Poland took the 25th position (together with Croatia) and remained among so-called moderate innovators.
