The Institute of Aviation completed a research project carried out jointly with the Gyro-Tech Innovation in Aviation company. The innovative helicopter rotors have been developed as a result of the project based on ground and air tests. They have demonstrated global quality and the highest competitiveness in relation to the helicopters currently used in the world.
As part of joint work on the project “Innovative composite rotors for ultralight helicopters”, the Institute of Aviation developed two types of rotors, including one developed at the Institute of Aviation and dedicated specifically to the light helicopters.
The manager of the project was Tomasz Szczepanik from the Center for Transport and Energy Conversion of the Institute of Aviation, and the entire undertaking was co-financed from the Intelligent Development Operational Program.
