The Institute of International Studies of the University of Wrocław and the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Geopolitical Society are inviting students and PhD students to participate in the third International Geopolitical Olympiad.

Geopolitics is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge joining political science, geography, international relations, military sciences and national security.

The Olympiad consists of three parts. The first is the pre-qualification consisting of writing an article on events in the international relations. The creators of the best works and people who meet the conditions listed in the regulations will be promoted to the second regional part.

20 best participants from Poland and the Eurasia region will advance to the final, preceding the December Congress of Polish Geopolitics. The previous Olympics gathered 150 representatives from Poland, Hungary, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine and Germany.
