The Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) established Doctoral School Anthropos in Warsaw. The school consists of nine Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Institute of Archeology and Ethnology, Institute of Literary Research, Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization, Institute of History, Institute for the History of Science, Institute of Polish Language, Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures, Institute of Slavic Studies and Institute of Art.

The Anthropos Doctoral School will offer a comprehensive education program that combines the preparation for independent and collaborative research, the development of academic skills as well as specialized and interdisciplinary seminars. Announcement about applying to school will appear by the end of May this year.

Doctoral schools are a new form of doctoral education, introduced in the Law on Higher Education and Science.
