The Institute of Physical Culture Sciences at the University of Rzeszów is launching a project whose main aim is to promote physical activity after pandemic COVID- 19 using innovative solutions in sport and scientific achievements among people aged 15 to 60+.
The project, called ‘Intergenerational dimension of physical fitness after the Covid-19 pandemic’, is being implemented under a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science from the programme ‘Social responsibility of science – promotion of sport and science’.
The activities planned as part of the project aim to raise awareness among its participants of the role of physical fitness in reducing the health effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and to include the University of Rzeszów in the circle of entities activating these age groups.
As part of the project, people from the target groups will be diagnosed in terms of their motor fitness, including body capacity, then they will undergo health training aimed at determining the level of their motor fitness and, consequently, improving all their motor skills.
