International Scientific Conference “Role of Catholic Universities in the modern world”

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw is holding on October 24, 2019, an international scientific conference devoted to the place and role of Catholic universities in the world.

The event will be held under the auspices of Dr Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Science and Higher Education and Prof. Piotr Gliński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

During the event, Prof. Michał Kleiber will present the role of science and universities in the modern world, priest Prof. Dr Wojciech Góralski will present the role of Catholic universities in the world of science, and the Rector of UKSW priest Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński will present UKSW as a modern university of the future.

The conference will include speeches of Archbishop of the Slovak Greek Catholic Church Jan Babjak and Prof. Vaja Vardidze, rector of the Catholic University of Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani in Tbilisi, Georgia.
