The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology launched a training program based on the Work-based learning (WBL) formula. Studies modelled on Austrian researches will be conducted first of all at the Technical University in Gabrovo in Bulgaria.

In addition to the study program, a cluster of practices will be created – an electronic platform for companies to advertise vacancies and for students to apply and work on the basis of real industrial situations.

In addition, e-workshops will be introduced, i.e. trainings for company mentors and academic teachers. There will also be a discussion forum devoted to the exchange of ideas, experience and best practices.

The aim of the project is to create a new partnership structure that promotes effective cooperation between technical universities and production companies, supported by local authorities and social partners.
