Researchers from the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun have won 6 medals at the Paris International Fair of Invention, the Grand Prix Eiffel and the exhibition Kaohsiung International Invention & Design EXPO in Taiwan.
The gold medal in Paris and the silver medal in Kaohsiung were received for the following projects: “Endovascular stent with properties that accelerate the healing of the implant site and reduce the occurrence of thrombosis” and “Method for obtaining a biological preparation of fungal origin accelerating the degradation of polymer materials and biological preparation”.
The gold medal in Paris and the bronze medal in Kaohsiung was received by the “Preparation with adaptogenic effect based on the extract of Eleutherococcus senticosus and the method of producing the preparation with adaptogenic effect based on the extract of Eleutherococcus senticosu”.
The fairs in Paris gathered 150 inventions from 14 countries, in Kaohsiung there were representatives of 21 countries and they presented over 380 inventions.
