Piotr Stojanowski, graduate of the Academy of Jakub from Paradyż in Gorzów Wielkopolski, won an award in the national competition “Student – Inventor”. He was awarded for the invention “Device for cleaning exhaust and ventilation ducts”.

The patent-protected solution is his diploma thesis. It enables an easy and effective way to remote control of the cleaning of exhaust and ventilation ducts in chimneys, which is particularly useful in multi-storey buildings. An additional advantage of the invention is the possibility of automating the process of cleaning pipes and their remote inspection.

The “Student – Inventor” competition is organized by the Świętokrzyski University of Technology. The 10th competition was supported by the The Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Development, the National Center for Research and Development, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities.
