Silesian University of Technology has concluded an agreement on cooperation with the Iraqi Koya University. The cooperation will take place primarily in the didactic and research areas. Both universities will engage in activities and programs that can contribute to their development and cooperation between them. The contract has been concluded for five years.
The Silesian University of Technology has been cooperating with universities in Iraq for many years – students of Iraq have studied in Silesia, and even now an Iraqi outstanding young scientist becomes a PhD student. – I hope that Iraqi students, who have improved their skills at the Silesian University of Technology and then returned to the country, will praise our university and use their knowledge, and thus it will be the beginning of our long-term cooperation – emphasized Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, the prorector for of science and development at the University.
