IT Developers of the University of Wroclaw took first place in the Ocean of Code – programming competitions in the field of artificial intelligence, which took place on the CodinGame platform.
The competition consisted of creating programs that competed with the programs of other participants in the game proposed by the organizers. The idea was taken from the strategic board game Captain Sonar – the task of each program was to maneuver the submarine in such a way as to attack other boats, remaining invisible to them.
These types of events are a great opportunity for both professionals and beginners to improve their knowledge of artificial intelligence methods. More than seven thousand competitors from many companies and universities took part in the competition. The winning team consisted of students, doctoral students and employees of the University of Science and Wrocław.
