The 9th Festival of Literature and Theater “Between” will take place in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot from the 14th to the 20th of May. The main topic of the event is “MAPS”. The organization is provided by staff, PhD students and students of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Gdańsk.

Festival of Literature and Theater “Between” is a meeting place for fans of literature, theater, music and other forms of art. Festival events are planned primarily in Sopot – in the BOTO Theater, Teatr na Plaży, The Sierakowskis Mansion and in the Wybrzeże Theater – informs Dr Beata Czechowska-Derkacz, spokesperson of the University.

During the festival there will be meetings with writers and poets – Monika Sznajderman, Andrzej Stasiuk, Mieczysław Abramowicz and Michael Edward, as well as concerts, exhibitions, performances and theater workshops, film presentations, scientific sessions and discussions. The event opening is planned on Monday, May 14, at 10.00 in the building of the Modern Languages of the University of Gdańsk.
