The Jagiellonian University in Krakow took the 90th place in the ranking of the hundred most innovative universities in Europe prepared by the Reuters agency.
The Reuters ranking takes into account the number of patents obtained for inventions created by scientists employed at a given university and scientific publications regarding the conducted research.
The Jagiellonian University was classified in the 90th position. Krakow’s university is the only Polish university included in the list. The Belgian Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) was recognized as the most innovative university in Europe, followed by the German Erlangen University of Nuremberg, and the third – British Imperial College London.
