Jakub Kamiński, a law student of the University of Opole, won the Tax Leaders competition. The 8th competition organized by the Ministry of Finance concerned the role of taxes during the COVID-19 pandemic and it was the topic for the competition entry.
Jakub Kamiński is in the fifth year of law, specializing in financial and tax law. For the purposes of the competition, he described the relationship between taxation and the will to invest in Poland. In his work he referred to the so-called “banking tax” and the “Belka tax” and VAT and customs law.
The laureate is also the founder and member of the Financial Markets Club and the plenipotentiary for coordinating the projects of the Student Council of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Opole University. He is also studying in the second year of economics, module financial management and enterprise accounting.
