The Jan Długosz University (UJD) in Częstochowa has concluded an agreement with the local Municipal Teaching Hospital. This is another step in the development of the Dr Władysław Biegański Collegium Medicum and the fields of study conducted at the Częstochowa university.
“The subject of the agreement is the organisation of clinical classes and internships for medical students at the Municipal Teaching Hospital located in the Zawodzie district of Częstochowa in the academic year 2023/2024. Together with hospital staff, we will train medical students, but also influence the quality of treatment at the hospital. For the institution, this also means an increase in status due to the possibility of creating clinical wards”, says UJD rector Professor Anna Wypych-Gawrońska.
In the agreement, the management of the hospital undertook to make specific units available for the needs of the students: the clinical ward of internal medicine, the clinical ward of general surgery and the clinical ward of paediatrics.
