The Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Life Sciences in Częstochowa will implement the project “De-Radicalization In Europe And Beyond: Detect, Resolve, And Re-Integrate” financed by the Horizon 2020 program.

The aim of the project is to identify the social contexts leading to radicalization in order to develop recommendations to counter extremism and violence, and to investigate how radicalized individuals can be integrated without violating their rights and freedoms.

The project is coordinated by Glasgow Caledonian University in Great Britain, and its other beneficiaries are Freie Universitaet in Berlin, University of Belgrade, Ben Gurion University in Israel, Istanbul University, University of Florence, Yarmouk University in Jordan, American University in Paris, Burnel University in London, University of Helsinki and the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
