Professor Mikhail Brik from the Department of Theoretical Physics at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa has been awarded the 2023 Chinese Government’s Friendship Award. At the award ceremony, the laureate received a commemorative medal and diploma from Chinese Premier Li Qiang. 

According to the regulations, the President, together with the Government of the People’s Republic of China, awards foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to China’s economic and social progress. 

Professor Brik, who has been working at the Częstochowa university since 2015, is a scholar with significant and internationally recognised scientific achievements. In addition to his highly effective scientific cooperation with universities in China, he is an expert-tutor in projects: 100 Overseas Innovative Talents and Wenfeng High-end Talents Project, both of which are designed to support the effective scientific career development of talented young scholars.
