The weekly journal “Polityka” is inviting participants in the 6th competition for the best master’s thesis on the Polish People’s Republic (PRL). The works devoted to the history of Poland in the period 1945–1989 created at various faculties and fields of study can be submitted by the promoters, reviewers, as well as authors, providing they have received the written support of the promoter and / or reviewer.

The current competition includes works written and presented in 2019-2020 years. The amount of the prize is PLN 15,000. The editorial office of “Polityka” is waiting for applications at rakowski@polityka.pl until September 30, 2020.

The competition jury consists of: Dr Barbara Klich-Kluczewska (Jagiellonian University in Krakow), Prof. Jerzy Kochanowski (University of Warsaw), Prof. Marcin Kula (Theater Academy in Warsaw), Prof. Wiesław Władyka (“Polityka”) and editor Marian Turski (“Polityka”).
