The Kalisz Academy, as the only higher school in Poland is launching the study of Security Sociology. The minister of education and science has granted permission to establish first-cycle studies with a practical profile in Kalisz.

A graduate of the 3-year studies will be prepared to work in various positions in state and local government administration, as an expert in sociology in defense and security, in organizational units of the Polish Armed Forces as a civilian employee and in other uniformed services, guards and inspections operating in the security defense sector, state and non-military organizations.

The studies will provide theoretical and practical knowledge in security sciences, sociological sciences and related sciences regarding the essence, regularity and problems of the functioning of the organization and the methods of their effective resolution with the knowledge of the essence of the operational use of forces to achieve political, social or economic goals.
