Researchers from the University of Economics in Katowice participated in the plenary meeting of the ECO-BOT project partners. The project is to change the behavior of energy consumers towards energy efficiency and pro-ecological activities.

The ECO-BOT research project (Personalized ICT for the Active Engagement of Consumers Towards Sustainable Energy) is financed from the Horizon 2020 program. Its goal is to create a virtual, personalized energy assistant that will provide information on its current consumption and suggest to limit unnecessary use of energy and thus save it.

The meeting was organized in Marathon near Athens. It was aimed at presenting the current progress of research, exchange of views and experiences and coordination of further activities leading to the implementation of the project.
