The University of Casimir the Great in Bydgoszcz received funding for the implementation of the project “We focus on the development of the UKW”. Almost PLN 11.7 million is allocated from the European Union funds under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.

The substantive scope of the project is the development and implementation of changes in education programs at the faculties of computer science and mechatronics, and the adaptation of the prototyping laboratory rooms for the Institute of Applied Mechanics and Computer Science.

The university is also planning to invite foreign lecturers with achievements in scientific and professional work, improving the competence of students responding to socio-economic needs, improving teaching skills of university staff by participating in specialized training and foreign teaching internships and purchasing IT systems to improve the quality of university management.
