Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz will implement two projects under the Regional Excellence Initiative programme.
The first project, ‘Strengthening UKW’s position as a significant research centre in the humanities’, covers the disciplines of cultural and religious studies, linguistics and literary studies. The amount of funding is PLN 8 573 976.
The second project, worth PLN 8,596,000, ‘Science and engineering as a basis for the multidisciplinary development of Kazimierz Wielki University’, was developed jointly with representatives of the disciplines of biological sciences, earth and environmental sciences, physical sciences, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, technical informatics and telecommunications.
“The obtained projects confirm the great scientific potential of the University within the disciplines included in the projects, on the other hand, they create real opportunities for further dynamic development of these disciplines”, says UKW Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Jarosław Burczyk.
