Parrot AI, an intelligent doctor’s assistant that is set to revolutionise medical appointments, is under development in Kielce. The solution is expected to relieve medics from performing tedious administrative tasks related to medical history and completing medical records.
In addition, Parrot AI, thanks to artificial intelligence mechanisms, will analyse the doctor’s statements, identify symptoms and disease entities in order to suggest additional tests, make referrals and issue prescriptions.
The intelligent physician assistant is a specialised speech processing system. It is being developed by Altar, a Kielce-based IT company, in consortium with Kielce University of Technology as part of the INFOSTRATEG strategic research and development programme.
The first phase of the project will last nine months. In subsequent phases, it will be subject to several evaluations, conditioning it to proceed to the next stages. If everything goes as planned, the project will last a maximum of three years, after which it will be able to enter the commercialisation phase.
