Kielce to host the scientific conference “John F. Kennedy – the presidency and the circumstances of death 60 years after the assassination in Dallas”

The Faculty of Humanities and the Collegium Medicum of Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce are inviting participants to a scientific conference on ‘John F. Kennedy – the presidency and the circumstances of death 60 years after the assassination in Dallas’ on 16 November 2023. 

This year, on 22 November, will mark 60 years since the assassination of the 35th US President John F. Kennedy at Dealey Plaza in Dallas. The event had a significant impact on the political situation in the United States and around the world. The tragic death of the American president has over time become a popular topic among conspiracy theory enthusiasts.

The conference will consist of 4 presentations: Dr Marcin Fatalski (Jagiellonian University), “John F. Kennedy’s Peaceful Revolution. USA vis-à-vis the challenges of the Third World’; Prof. Włodzimierz Batóg, (University of Warsaw), ‘Where America ends. Space exploration and frontier theory in John F. Kennedy’s speeches’; UJK Prof. Michał Mazurkiewicz (UJK), ‘John F. Kennedy – a Sport-Loving President’; UJK Prof. Zbigniew Siudak (UJK), ‘A critical assessment of the Warren Commission Report’.
