Kielce University of Technology is to become a modern university, educating highly qualified staff for the needs of the innovative labor market. The university has received over PLN 7 million to improve the offer and quality of education from the National Center for Research and Development.
This money allows to create four new specialties: building information modeling, proecological engineering, ICT with computer control and measurement systems. Students will also benefit from additional training and workshops to help them create and run their own businesses. The university will also expand the offer of internships in the region’s leading enterprises.
Funds from the National Center for Research and Development were directed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of a program supporting the development of smaller regional universities. In total, almost PLN 250 million was allocated. Support for smaller research centers is crucial in terms of the development of the regional economy.
