The Kielce University of Technology has signed an agreement with Military Aviation Factory (WZL) No. 2. This company deals with the renovation and modernization of aircraft used by the Polish armed forces, including Su-22, MiG-29 and F-16.
-Our main interest is aviation, and the laboratories we saw at the Kielce University of Technology are the best in the world. We want to use both the university’s modern equipment and the knowledge of scientists who work here – said Leszek Walczak, president of WZL No. 2.
Professor Zbigniew Koruba, the rector of the Kielce University of Technology, said that thanks to orders from WZL No. 2, scientists from Kielce will increase their knowledge and, in addition, the university will gain. An important element of cooperation is to be the development of drone technology.
-We have an idea to cooperate with a flying drone produced by WZL with an unmanned land vehicle that we will develop in Kielce – announced the rector.
