10.09.2021

On Friday, September 10, the 7th European Rover Challenge – the largest space event in Europe will be launched. Visitors may participate in a three-day program, in addition to the international competition of Mars rovers.

The event is co-organized by the European Space Foundation, the Special Economic Zone “Starachowice” SA, the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and the Kielce University of Technology.

The speakers will include NASA deputy head Robert Cabana, Robert Zubrin from The Mars Society, and representatives of international space companies and science and experts from the European Space Agency and the European Union Agency for the Space Program EUSPA, which this year is also a partner of the event.

The European Rover Challenge is the largest space event in Europe combining the international competition of Mars rovers with scientific and technological shows. Since 2014, the organizers have brought space to the general public and make people aware of the growing role of modern technologies in everyday life, following the slogan “we inspire a new generation”,.
