Koszalin University of Technology and the City Council of Szczecinek will implement the “Model School of Exercises” project. The value of the project is over PLN 1.3 million. The whole project will be financed from the European Social Fund – Operational Program Knowledge Education Development (POWER).

The aim of the project is to use the human potential of the Primary School No. 5 existing in Szczecinek and transform it into a professional institution responsible for the high standard of teacher training and support for the local educational market. Over 90 new teachers will be trained under the project.

The Model School of Exercises will organize teaching internships for students who wish to become teachers professionally. An important element of the project is also a comprehensive renovation and refitting of four thematic classrooms, where the new teachers will participate in the lessons, demonstration lessons, methodological workshops and conferences in the field of teaching methodology.
