Koszalin University of Technology will implement the project “Smart development of Central Pomerania – an innovative approach to creating a competitive advantage of the region”. The partners in the activities are the Koszalin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Northern Chamber of Commerce and the Science for the Environment Foundation.

The project implementation will allow to prepare a diagnosis and analysis of the region’s innovation potential in the context of building competitive advantage. It regards identification and assessment of economic potential in the context of innovation and competitiveness networks, identification and assessment of the impact of logistic infrastructure elements on socio-economic development, as well as assessment of the level and quality of social and human capital.

The most important result of the project will be the selection of smart specializations for the areas forming the region of Central Pomerania and the identification of potential sources of innovation. The project is accepted for financing by the Minister of Science and Higher Education under the “Dialogue” program.
