The evaluation of scientific activity for the years 2017-2021, implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science, has been completed at the Koszalin University of Technology. The evaluation has brought great success – the university has been granted new rights to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees, as well as the opportunity to train doctoral students at the Doctoral School.
Mechanical Engineering was awarded an A category, Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering; Economics and Finance; Political Science and Administration were awarded a B+ category. The results of the evaluation confirm that the Koszalin University of Technology is an important scientific centre on the map of Poland, implementing modern scientific research adapted to the needs of the region’s development.
The university provides personnel training at the highest world level. Categories A and B+ authorise the awarding of doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in the following disciplines. Recruitment to the Doctoral School will begin on 1 September”.
