The Faculty of Technology and Education at Koszalin University of Technology plans to create the research and implementation center for surface engineering, process design and processes simulation as well as vibroacoustic studies. The center is to be built by the end of 2019.

The innovations implemented after the launch of the Center will enable expanding the research and service offer of the university in the field of surface treatment, including heat, chemical and plasma treatment, and the electrical machinery, woodworking and furniture industries.
– We are creating our Research and Development Center with aim to cooperate with the industry. We invest in instruments to expand our range of services. We will be able to specialize even better in the study of surface properties. This is a chance to develop solutions that will more durable and more resistant to abrasion – says vice-rector for science and development of the university – Prof. Eng. Witold Gulbiński.
