The Institute of Landscape Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology (PK), the Association of Monument Conservators and the Polish Academy of Sciences Krakow Branch are organizing the XXVI National Scientific Conference in the field of garden art and historical dendrology. The theme of the event, which will take place on October 24-25 is “conservation and ecological aspects in landscape protection”.

The main purpose of the conference is to popularize knowledge in the field of landscape protection, as well as to raise awareness and shape ecological attitudes.

The conference will be divided into thematic blocks dedicated to: landscape ecology in the light of architectural and landscape regionalism, ecological aspects in shaping contemporary green areas, ecological aspects related to garden art, landscape protection in the light of ecological values of the natural environment, protection of cultural landscape and its aesthetic values as heritage national and environmental assessment subject.
