The Rector of the Krakow University of Technology (PK), Professor Andrzej Szarata, and Agnieszka Szlubowska, Director of the Statistical Office in Krakow, signed a memorandum of cooperation, which provides for the implementation of research and development and scientific research projects, undertaking activities to increase the interest of public and private sector entities in the activities of the Krakow University of Technology and the Statistical Office in Krakow, and joint work on study programmes.

According to the Krakow University of Technology, the cooperation will be realised by educating students and expanding the knowledge of Krakow University of Technology academics based on the resources of public statistics, jointly conducting scientific and research and development projects.

There are also plans to organise student internships and apprenticeships, jointly apply for research grants or co-organise conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops and training courses, as well as cooperation on publications, scientific publications, popularisation and promotion.
