Krakow University of Technology launches the FutureLab innovation laboratory

The FutureLab student innovation laboratory was established at the Krakow University of Technology (PK). It will financially and organisationally support the implementation of scientific projects of university students. At the beginning they will receive nearly 300,000 PLN.

Especially for the needs of the student laboratory, the University of Technology allocated over 200 square meters of coworking space in Krakow. Young engineers from all industries will have free rooms for discussion and work in groups, conducting trainings and experiments.

The interior design of FutureLab was created by students of architecture and engineering of industrial design at PK under the direction of outstanding mentors from the design industry. The laboratory’s modernly designed and equipped premises will be ready in spring.

Student teams will receive funds from the university to purchase equipment, computer programs, materials, as well as for training and study trips. They will also get free support of scientific and business mentors. FutureLab is inviting the companies that will be interested in cooperation with PK students and present innovative project challenges.
