The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP), represented by Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, President of KRASP, and the National Representation of Doctoral Students (KRD), represented by Michał Klimczyk, President of KRD, concluded an agreement concerning, among other things, the development of a common position on payment of fees for the procedure of awarding the doctoral degree by participants of doctoral studies. 

The agreement also concerns the improvement of conditions for doctoral students’ education, the possibility and realisation and defence of interdisciplinary doctoral theses and short-term forms of international academic cooperation. 

KRASP and KRD jointly declared to take measures to strengthen the skills of young scientists and to popularise doctoral education by improving the educational offer and grant programmes aimed at doctoral students.
