Krzysztof Wegner from the electronics and telecommunications department at the Poznań University of Technology received the Polish Intelligent Development Award 2019 in the category: “Scientist of the Future” for the project “MUCHA – Spatial Image Registration and Processing System”.

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative system of recording and processing of spatial images with very high resolution, a large number of registered beams and a wide angle of acquisition. The result of the works will be the technology of construction of a new generation of spatial image cameras.

The Polish Intellectual Development Award is a nationwide distinction appreciating the most innovative projects implemented under EU and national programs by Polish scientific institutions, institutions and companies involved in research and development, which through their innovative investments and solutions, are committed to the sustainable development of Poland.
