The XLI National Conference “Autumn Tribological School 2023” was held in Łańcut on 5-8 September, organised by the Polish Tribological Society and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology.
The conference provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge in tribology in the broadest sense, including problems of friction and wear in industrial practice, biotribology, diagnostics and operation of friction nodes, or artificial intelligence in tribology. The proceedings included plenary sessions, during which the following issues, among others, were discussed: tribological process analysis, methods of designing tribological nodes, modelling of tribological systems, lubricants and lubrication processes, tribological research methodology, diagnostics and operation of friction nodes, tribology on the nano- and micro-scale, tribology and contact mechanics, surface engineering in tribology, biotribology, problems of friction and wear in industrial practice, wear – destruction of materials, tribology in space, artificial intelligence in tribology.
