The Leaders of Change Foundation, in agreement with the Polish-American Freedom Foundation has launched a special Kirkland Research Program for Belarus students in the 2020/2021 academic year in response to the situation in Belarus.

Belarussians can apply for the Kirkland Research Program until November 8, 2020. The program is addressed to experienced research workers who are Belarusian citizens, with at least a doctoral title and documented achievements and publications. The program is also addressed to persons who have completed the 3rd year of doctoral studies and are preparing a doctoral dissertation and have documented achievements and publications.

The scholarship is scheduled for one semester (February-June 2021).

Research may be conducted in the areas: economics and management, business management, NGO, culture, education, healthcare, public administration (government and local government), law, social sciences (social psychology, sociology), political science and international relations environmental protection, security issues, crisis management, development policy and humanitarian aid.
