Library of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of the University of Adama Mickiewicza in Poznań obtained the status of an affiliated library at FamilySearch – an American organization that provides free access to billions of genealogical data to users around the world.

The university library has joined approximately 800 public libraries in the world that offer extended access to genealogical data collected by FamilySearch.

Thanks to this affiliation, library users of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism will gain easy access to digital record books from Poland and other countries of the world, and in particular to many restricted collections that cannot be accessed on home computers.
