The library of the Opole University of Technology took third place in the competition “You will find me in the library” organized by the Association of Polish Librarians. The competition awarded the most interesting events organized as part of the nationwide Library Week.

The library of the University of Opole organized an online exhibition. The photo project was related to attractive points at the Opole University of Technology and the promotion of scientific publications and new literature proposals.

– The university library is not only dedicated strictly to the technical or scientific environment. Our role is also to promote reading, which we try to do through fiction; in principle, our novelties are immediately borrowed, no matter if it is crime fiction or a novel of manners. In addition, we regularly recommend a series of various books on our social media, now we recommend travel books – says the director of the library, Anna Jańdziak.
