Researchers from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (UAM) have collaborated to create a line of vegan cosmetics. The products are the result of the work of Prof Izabela Nowak’s research team from the university’s chemistry department.

Scientific work in the field of cosmetic chemistry has been carried out in Poznań for more than 16 years and has resulted in many doctoral theses and implementations. The latest result is a line of vegan cosmetics.

The UAM cosmetics line includes a shampoo with aloe vera, fenugreek, chamomile and valerian extracts and vitamins, with a neutral pH for the skin, a body lotion with strongly moisturising glycerine of plant origin and shea butter, which prevents water loss, and a body wash gel based on mild cleansing substances of plant origin. The addition of plant extracts, D-panthenol and postbiotic moisturises and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
