The debate “Statutes of the university and the Act 2.0” will take place on February 18, 2019 at the Lodz University of Technology with the participation of Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education.

The event will take place as part of a series of nationwide debates of the NKN FORUM. It is a new initiative of the Minister of Science and Higher Education created with the participation of representatives of the academic community, serving to discuss key elements and possible solutions resulting from the new law on higher education and science.

The Łódź debate combines discussions in thematic groups, which will concern the organization and management of the university, as well as its structures in the context of didactics and research management, employees issues and academic advancements, university assets and finance, and process management models in the light of the new law.
