The Council of HCERES (Haut Conseil de l’évaluation de la recherche et de l’enseignement supérieur) – the French Supreme Council for the Evaluation of Scientific Research and Higher Education highly rated the extensive education offer of the Lodz University of Technology, adapted to the needs of the labor market, as well as university successes in improving curricula.

The accreditation process lasted two years. Over 170 employees, students, graduates and partners of PŁ participated in meetings with specialists from France. Lodz University of Technology was rated very well in all 6 criteria assessed and obtained a positive grade for 5 years.

The rector of PŁ Prof. Sławomir Wiak emphasized, that “the HCERES quality mark increases the visibility and attractiveness of universities in the European research area and it facilitates membership of international research teams as well as networks and consortia. For students and the socio-economic environment of the university the accreditation is also a confirmation of its credibility. “
