Under Poland’s largest educational and technological initiative, the Digital Festival, the Technical University of Lodz is inviting participants to an Innovation Night on Friday, 20 October. Researchers and students from four faculties have prepared unique attractions.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is inviting to a lecture by Professor Łukasz Kaczmarek “Hydrogen – the gold of futuristic energy. Can you imagine your home’s energy needs being met by renewable sources?” 

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Automation welcomes visitors to a mad scientist evening and learn about the secrets of science. 

The Faculty of Technical Physics, Informatics and Applied Mathematics offers a tour of the Biogenic Crystals Laboratory.

How can you use light to measure the size of sand or recognise the shape and flight of snowflakes? How can light be used to measure the level of rivers or the frequency of sea waves? – scientists from the Department of Process and Environmental Engineering will try to answer these questions.
