The Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, professor Sławomir Wiak, signed on Monday, January 21, 2019, the contract for the implementation of the first stage of the investment called “Alchemium”.

Within the first stage, a new conference and teaching center will be created, with lecture halls and an assembly hall for 500 people. The second stage of the investment includes the construction of a new laboratory for the Faculty of Chemistry. The entire investment is worth PLN 113 million, of which 97.5 million is allocated from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Prof. Wiak, the rector of the university, emphasized that the new investment is to increase the potential of the Lodz University of Technology.
