The Faculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design of the Lodz University of Technology will present a technology that allows to load mobile electronic devices with a textile charger.

The invention may replace the heavy, often large-sized powerbanks available on the market, which often contain toxic substances.
Prof. Katarzyna Grabowska, the author of the innovative solution, implements her idea based on research on the structure and properties of decorative and hybrid threads.

The invention has received financial support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the Innovation 2.0 Incubator project, which aims to support the process of managing research results by promoting the technological offer and participation in selected exhibitions and fairs.
