Protection and security of key IT resources as well as design and development of secure software are the main tasks of the Lower Silesian Cybersecurity Cluster, established at the initiative of the Wrocław University of Technology.
The cluster’s tasks include protection of institutions, business systems and control in industry; management, law and auditing – managing the security and risk analysis team and conducting technical audits of the most important IT systems within applicable legal regulations; forensic science – acquisition and analysis of evidence from digital systems to find traces and obtain evidence relevant to the security of information and information systems, and electromagnetic security.
The creators of the cluster also announce penetration research – identification and evaluation of potential attacks and vulnerabilities in information systems and implemented defense systems.
