The Lower Silesian Science Festival received the main prize of the 15th Science Promoter competition, organized by the PAP Science in Poland, the Polish Press Agency Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The event is also organized by the Medical University of Wrocław for years.

The Lower Silesian Science Festival is a popular science event organized by Wrocław’s universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and non-university environments. Every year, October sessions are organized in Wrocław, Legnica, Zgorzelec, Dzierżoniów, Głogów, Jelenia Góra, Wałbrzych, Ząbkowice Śląskie and Bystrzyca Kłodzka.

“Science Promoter” is a prestigious competition for scholars, media people, institutions and social activists, who share knowledge with passion and invite people unrelated to the academic world to the world of science.
